Hands down, the most important thing to me for self-care is vinegar water & moisturizer. I have naturally oily skin, and even so, Burning Man is the only place/time that I moisturize multiple times a day (normally, I only do it after a hot bath). Also important is using coconut oil to moisturize the inside of my nose. I put it on a q-tip and swish it around up there, wait a few minutes, blow my nose to get the playa boogers out, then put more up. I find it works better than most things.

I think the most “useful” gift I’ve ever gotten was an ice cold beer out on the deep playa. Didn’t exactly save my life, but it make the moment even nicer than it was. :)
