* /u/misterjackman on /r/BurningMan Hey! A question that I can directly answer. Last year was my first burn and I have Celiac. I brought 2 loafs of bread and sandwich stuff. Also Thai Kitchen has easy meals that are gluten free… kind of like cup of noodles… I bought this last year (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000GZSIBM?tag=dirtyhippie-20). Also brought cans of chili, and hot dogs. Not a huge morning eater, but Chex sells gluten free oatmeal, had some cereal, and we all combined to bring a couple of days of proper morning stuff (eggs, bacon). Making sure the pan is gluten free was fairly easy, as my camp mates understood that they couldn’t use mine, it was dedicated for gluten free use. I did bring gluten free pancake mix, but never got around to actually using it.My 2 favorite ciders are Strongbow and Smith & Forge. Technically, my absolute favorite is Magners, but I have only ever found that in Europe, have not seen it in California.
Hope that helps!
