Some comments about this we saw on the web:
* /u/Cassaroll168 on /r/BurningMan Hey CSnarf, I’m wondering if I can ask you a few (read: a fuck ton) of questions about this process since you’re the first resource I’ve found that actually has information. So for handwashing, even something like this would be enough? Just needs flowing water? We’re doing s’mores so we don’t need to keep anything cold or hot. My guess is it will be cool enough at night (which is when we’ll mostly be using it) to keep the chocolate solid and everything else is shelf stable. We don’t need cold stations and thermometers then do we?
So before we serve food we go to playa info to pick up our permit? Do we do the inspection before or after we get the permit? Does everyone get an inspection or is it more of a random check for some accountability?
The application form asks for a camp location but we aren’t placed this year. Should I just put a guess and then let them know when I go to playa info?
Sorry to ask so many questions this is just my first time trying to do food service and I can’t seem to find any of this info on the burning man website or the NDPBH site.
