If you don’t have space for an entire futon mattress, but would have space for equivalent volume in a different format and want to sleep like a pretty princess, I really recommend getting two 4” thick tri-fold twin foam mattress like this and strapping them together and putting a king sized sheet over the top. (That’s what we do.)
