* /u/RIP_KING on /r/BurningMan alright, so I researched a bit last night and here’s what I came up with as far as lights are concerned.

The plan is to get an RGB strip like this (though I’m not sure if the high density strip will draw too much power, it’s probably more worth it to go with the 150 strip because the battery will last longer on it).

I’m going to connect the strip to this controller. I like this one cause it seems pretty low profile and inexpensive. There was a good video demo here. Then finally, I was going to connect the controller to this battery pack. Debating if I want to go with rechargable batteries or just normal alkaline.

As it stands, it’s completely solder free. I think I will probably cut the strip down to about 11-12 feet from the 16.4 that is included.

I can’t really think of any reason why this set up should not work, let me know what you think!
