Still, the best thing is to cover them. I have one tattoo on each wrist. I use sweat wristbands if I know I’m going to be out for a long time and might get too distracted to remember reapplication every so often, mostly if doing a long workout in direct sun. I still apply the sunblock though. Sun damage can still happen while they’re covered.

One of my tattoos is just over 10 years old; not color (just the standard dark blue). The other is just over 3 years old and multi-colored. They haven’t faded at all.
