They have served me for 4 years on playa. I’ve never had any issues with them, including FRS being saturated. There are tons of “privacy” codes (also none as PL, or CTCSS tones) available in them.

Everybody crying that these don’t work, and implying that a FUCKING PRACTICALLY FEATURELESS FLAT PLANE is somehow magic that prevents radio from happening probably just sucks at radios.
