It has last me so far through 4 trips: High Sierra, river rafting weekend, Burning Man 2011, Lighting in a Bottle 2012. No issues with leaking yet…you may find you have to give it more air after the first night but I think that’s mainly due to material stretching, not air leaking.

It is a plug-in but get an inverter and you’ll be fine. I think it was a pretty good deal for only 60 bucks or so.

I’ve used this one out there for a few years. It has a built in pump, but believe it can also be pumped up with an external battery powered pump.

You could also plug it in to your vehicle or a friends vehicle with a power inverter to pump it up.
