Last year, I just had EL wire on my frame, strand of ferry lights wrapped in the holes in the milk crate I had attached to the back of my bike and a similar stand, made just for bike wheels on my wheels. These were my favorite, because they shut down when I stopped biking, lasted the whole week (until one snapped) and honestly, compared to people in my group that had the monkey light knock offs were way more visible. Personal opinion the EL wire was FINE, and I had no problem picking my bike out of a giant bunch but this year I am using ferry lights on the handle bars, just plain white LED stripping wrapped in Faux firm around the frame, and if I have time (which means most likely I wont) I want to add a pole on the back. I am getting rid of the milk crate and adding either hanging wire cages or a study front basket instead as I hated getting of my bike front words. My partner will most likely get a programmable strip and have fun with patterns using an arduino.

TL:Dr: Anything from ferry lights, EL wire or LED stripping will work. Just pick one and memorize your bike lighting for the week.
