They’re clear so they work day or night, comfortable, and small enough to not take up much space in your bag so you can always have them with you. I’ve found that even in the daytime I don’t really need tinted lenses if there’s a dust storm, because the dust dims the sunlight enough.

You could also use swim goggles or ski goggles if you happen to have a pair already.
