* /u/l13ka on /r/BurningMan Ok, I will try to do better job explaining. People like sewing el-wire or led wire to clothing, cause one can make nice patterns, right? Plastic straws can be sewn on for easy replacement of bad wires, but I am too lazy to sew and always forget to do it ahead of time, besides thread,that I have at home, breaks down easily, creating moop. So, this year, while frantically packing my bag, I looked for anything that I have readily available, to make decorating easier. I had bunch of pre-stripped thin jumper wire(of cause it is cheaper to buy a roll and strip it yourself), so I poked stripped ends through the clothing to create loops for led or el wire to go through; twisted stripped ends on the inside to secure and covered them with some cloth repair tape, so they would not poke me and stay in place. Also, there are probably a lot of self-adhesive products available, that are easier to use, such as adhesive led strips, etc, but I never tried them.More Beautiful and Useful Items:
