Why we love it?

Both models are high quality reliable and durable with long lasting battery life. Of course I only use Eneloop Rechargeable Batteries. This light does not appear to be very durable and the strap mount for your head is not very comfortable (plastic light strap bracket touches your forehead). Might be good for reading, emergency’s, etc. Excessive use from running/exercising will cause the strap to fail, rub your head raw, etc. If you drop this light on a hard surface I doubt the plastic housing/mount will survive.

* /u/lepton2171 on /r/BurningMan That headlamp-in-your-face thing bugs me, too. I just picked up one of these, and it can pivot down so when it’s on your forehead it isn’t shining into other peoples eyes.

My test - put on head lamp, walk up to mirror. If I blind myself, I’m at high risk of being an annoying bugger.
