Showing 1-5 of 5 reviews I was forever searching for this fitting (a 1⁄2” 4-Way Cross PVC fitting connector) to build a 32” x 32” portable camp shower frame. It is so simple… you install the 4-way connector to a piece of 1⁄4” nylon rope suspended from a tree, insert 4 pieces of 1⁄2” x 23”, four 1⁄2” elbows and four 1⁄2” tees and fill in the 4 sides with 1⁄2” PVC pipe. Now install 2 standard size 72” wide shower curtains (overlapping 6” on one side) with the hooks and you have a portable camp shower for about ten bucks. You can even stake down the bottom corners of the shower curtains on a windy day and have total privacy. Portable camp showers can run $50. to $249., save money, save time, use the 4-way cross PVC fitting for many, many projects like this one.
