I’ve heard that solar is inconsistent at best. So, using it to charge your go pro might be a problem. To get around that, I’d add a slight extra step.

At full charge it can recharge my phone a full three times. Go pro may be more or less.

If you can get a system to shield it from the heat, you could possibly leave that charging with panel all day while you’re gone and it’ll might be able to collect enough juice for a day or two at a time.

Hell, if the go pro sips power at a slow enough rate, you might be able to get away with just the battery pack.
