Propane is great for emergency generators because gasoline goes bad (surprisingly quickly) but propane does not. There are a variety of conversion kits for the eu2000i,

One disadvantage is that propane is less powerful than gasoline and that directly translates to a lower power output from the generator.

It’s pretty easy to buy too much gas for a generator, and just dump the extra in your car’s fuel tank afterwards. Extra propane is harder to get rid of, unless you have flame effects.
