* /u/madsci on /r/BurningMan I don’t like the collapsible ones, either. If you’re going to use it repeatedly you want something with heavy plastic and good seams.

If you’re really serious and don’t mind spending more money, this type of Jerry can is almost indestructible. My only gripe with this one is that it doesn’t have three handles like the fuel cans. It’s easier to carry the can between two people, or one in each hand, with the triple handle.
