* /u/[deleted] on /r/BurningMan I couldn’t find a 10x20 heavy duty tarp, so I sort of jerry-rigged one together with gorilla tape and super glue. It has held up fine. I was also strapped for time, though.

Assemble that fucker before you hit the Playa. Trust me. It’s pretty easy to set up, but it’s also easy to not set it up STRAIGHT, which is…. important. I found that extra staking is also a big help in keeping it holding up well. I used a bunch of bungees and bungeed it to my car, and roped it down in the front to some rebar stakes.

Don’t face it E/W like I did my first year. It defeated the purpose of building it. Also, light it up a bit, so it looks neat for people to come visit!
