* /u/kneightx on /r/BurningMan I love this idea and am only a little annoyed that I never thought of it. Even not having used them, I’m betting the 12” would hold plenty…rebar breaks the playa up as you drive it down. If the the lag really “threads” into the playa it should be much less disruptive and so I would think it’s hold would be very effective.With all of that said, here’s a link to some 24” lags on Amazon if you wanted to trade 1:1 for your rebar length.
